FOGGY AND WHIT: GIVIN' IT GAS
2010 CHAT SHOW TOUR DATES
Two legends of motorbike racing, Carl Fogarty and James Whitham, are revving up for their first UK chat show tour.
Foggy and Whit: Givin' It Gas is an unmissable experience for all sports fans at five venues across Englandand Wales, for six consecutive nights from September 13th this year.
Opinionated and hilarious, this is four-times World Superbike champion, Carl Fogarty, with his good friend and former British champ, TV pundit James Whitham, at their irreverent best - live and uncut.
With their own unique brand of verbal sparring, Carl and James provide insight into today's world of racing, recall former glories and disasters, and discuss the burning issues of the day – on and off-track.
The tour starts on September 13th in Llanelli, moves to Hereford on the 14th, up to Penrith on 15th, across to Barrow-in-Furness on the 16th and closes with two dates in Scarborough, on 17th and 18th, in association with the 60th anniversary of the Gold Cup races.
Carl said: “I’m really looking forward to the tour. I don’t see enough of James these days so it will be great to spend some time with him, but also with race fans throughout England and Wales. We've held one-off chat shows before and they always seem to go down really well. We enjoy a bit of banter between us but it’s also a chance for fans to say hello and ask their questions. And it’s great to end up at Scarborough where I have so many memories of the Gold Cup.”
James added: “I have known Carl for many years and I’m glad that this will be a perfect chance for a lot of people, who don’t really know what he is like in private, to see the real Foggy. He is a lot more relaxed these days and the chat shows we have done previously have been a right good laugh.”
On-stage chat and questions will last around two hours and each event will feature a prize charity draw and a chance for autographs from Carl and James.
Tickets, priced £20, can be bought at www.foggyandwhit.co.uk
